You are right , there are programs that can help you with homework. I think there are a few types that help you solve math problems, but I read that Algebrator stands out amongst them. I used the software when I was a student in Intermediate algebra for helping me with algerba online , and it never failed me since then. Step by step I understood all the topics, and soon I was able to solve the most challenging of the tasks without the program. Don't worry; you won't have any problem using it. It was made for students, so it's simple to use. Basically you just have to type in the topic that's all .Of course you should use it to learn algebra, not just copy the results, because you won't learn that way.

I would just add a note to what has been said above. Algebrator no doubt is the most useful tool one could have. Always use it as a guide and a means to learn and never to cheat.

I remember having difficulties with triangle similarity, factoring and graphing parabolas. Algebrator is a truly great piece of math software. I have used it through several math classes - Remedial Algebra, Basic Math and College Algebra. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
