I am going to high school now. As math has always been my problem area , I purchased the course material in advance. I am plan studying a handful of chapters before the classes start. Any kind of links would be highly appreciated that could assist me to start studying maths for dummies myself.

What exactly don't you understand about maths for dummies? I remember having difficulty with the same thing in Pre Algebra, so I might be able to give you some suggestions on how to approach such problems. However if you want help with algebra on a long term basis, then you should purchase Algebrator, that's what I did in my College Algebra, and I have to say it's so cool! It's less expensive than a tutor and you can use it anytime you want . It's very easy to use it , even if you never ever had a similar software . I would advise you to buy it as soon as you can and forget about getting a algebra teacher. You won't regret it!

My parents could not afford my college fees, so I had to work in the evening, after my classes. Solving equations at the end of the day seemed to be difficult for me at those times. A friend introduced Algebrator to me and since then I never had trouble solving my equations.

I would suggest using Algebrator. It not only helps you with your math problems, but also displays all the required steps in detail so that you can improve the understanding of the subject.
