Holla guys and gals! Recently I hired a private tutor to guide me with some topics in math. My problem areas included topics such as simplifying exponents and reducing fractions. Now that teacher turned out to be so dumb, that instead of helping me now I’m even more confused than I earlier was. I still can’t solve problems on those topics. And the exam time is nearing. I need someone to help me out. Is there anything in particular that can be done to get some sort of help? I have a good set of questions to help me learn these topics, but the problem is I just can’t solve them, no matter how much I try. Please help!

Dear Pal, don't get strained. Check out http://www.softmath.com/algebra-features.html, http://www.softmath.com/algebra-policy.html and http://www.softmath.com/faqs-regarding-algebra.html. There is a utility by name Algebrator available at all the three sites. This tool would provide all the information that you would need on the title Intermediate algebra. But, ensure that you go through all the lessons carefully.

Algebrator beyond doubt is a great piece of algebra software. I remember having difficulties with logarithms, like denominators and like denominators. By typing in the problem from homework and merely clicking Solve would give step by step solution to the algebra problem. It has been of great help through several Intermediate algebra, Remedial Algebra and College Algebra. I seriously recommend the program.
