solving logarithms with pie

Hello there I have almost taken the decision to look fora algebra tutor, because I've been having a lot of stress due to math homework recently. each time when I come home from school I wasteall my time with my math homework, and in the end I still seem to be getting the wrong answers. However I'm also not certain whether a math tutor is worth it, since it's not cheap, and who knows, maybe it's not even so helpful. Does anyone know anything about solving logarithms with pie that can help me? Or maybe some explanations regarding reducing fractions,angle-angle similarity or solving a triangle? Any suggestions will be valued.
