algebra - linear relations worksheets is my worst problem. Can any one help me understand it? I am a novice at it. What book or other resource do you suggest for starting this subject?

You really shouldn’t have spent money on a private tutor . Had you posted this message before hiring a tutor , you could have saved yourself loads of money! Anyway, now you can’t change it. In order to make sure that you do well in your exams I would suggest trying Algebrator. It’s a very easy to use software. It can solve the really tough ones for you, and what’s even cooler is the fact that it can even explain how to go about solving it! There used to be a time when even I was having difficulty understanding dividing fractions, exponent rules and factoring expressions. But thanks to Algebrator, everything’s good now.

Algebrator truly is a masterpiece for us math students. As already said in the post above , not only does it solve questions but it also explains all the intermediary steps involved in reaching that final solution . That way you don’t just get to know the final answer but also learn how to go about solving questions right from the first step till the last, and it helps a lot in preparing for exams .

A great piece of math software is Algebrator. Even I faced similar problems while solving subtracting fractions, rational inequalities and quadratic equations. Just by typing in the problem from homework and clicking on Solve – and step by step solution to my algebra homework would be ready. I have used it through several algebra classes - College Algebra, College Algebra and Pre Algebra. I highly recommend the program.
