Holla guys and gals! Recently I hired a private tutor to guide me with some topics in math . My problem areas included topics such as pre algebra practice and homework workbook and linear algebra. Now that teacher turned out to be such a waste, that instead of helping me now I’m even more confused than I used to be. I still can’t solve problems on those topics. And the exam time is nearing. I need someone to help me out. Is there anything in particular that can be done to get some sort of help? I have a fairly large set of questions to help me learn these topics, but the problem is I just can’t solve them, no matter how much I try . Please help!

I could help you if you can be more specific and give more details about pre algebra practice and homework workbook. A good computer program would be best option rather than a costly math tutor. After trying a number of program I found the Algebrator to be the best I have so far come across. It solves any math problem from your book . It also clarifies all the steps (of the solution). You can just write it down as your homework assignment. However, you should use it to learn math , and simply not use it to copy answers.

Thanks for the suggestion . Algebrator is truly a pretty good math software. I was able to get answers to problems I had about solving inequalities, algebraic signs and trigonometry. You only need to type in a problem, click on Solve and you get the all the explanation you need. You can use it for all types of , like College Algebra, Intermediate algebra and Intermediate algebra. I am really happy with Algebrator.
