Hi All, I am in need of assistance on absolute values, quadratic formula, powers and 3x3 system of equations. Since I am a newbie to Remedial Algebra, I really want to learn the basics of Remedial Algebra completely. Can anyone recommend the best resource with which I can begin reading the basics? I have a midterm next week.

Your story sounds familiar to me. Even though I was good in math for several years, when I attended Remedial Algebra there were a lot of algebra topics that seemed confusing. I remember I got a very bad mark when I took the test on the square root of two to 100 decimal places. Now I don't have this issue anymore, I can solve anything quite easily , even adding numerators and complex fractions. I was lucky that I didn't spend my money on a teacher , because I heard of Algebrator from a a colleague. I have been using it since then whenever I had to solve something difficult .

I allow my son to use that program Algebrator because I believe it can significantly help him in his algebra problems. It’s been a long time since they first used that software and it did not only help him short-term but I noticed it helped in improving his solving capabilities. The program helped him how to solve rather than helped them just to answer. It’s fantastic!

Sorry friends . But whenever I see those book and piles of classwork , I just can’t seem to retain my senses. Thanks a lot for the suggestion and I will use it for sure. Where can I get this thing?
