Hello Math Gurus! I am a starting at glencoe algebra 1 texas. I seem to understand the lectures in the class properly , but when I start to solve the problems at home myself, I commit mistakes. Does anyone know of any resource where I can get my solutions checked before submitting them for grading? Or any resource where I can get to see a step by step answer ?

Algebrator is really a good software program that helps to deal with algebra problems. I remember facing difficulties with graphing parabolas, matrices and hypotenuse-leg similarity. Algebrator gave step by step solution to my math homework problem on typing it and simply clicking on Solve. It has helped me through several math classes. I greatly recommend the program.

Thanks for the detailed information , this seems great . I wanted something exactly like Algebrator, because I don't want a program which only solves the exercise and shows the final result, I want something that can really show me how the exercise needs to be solved. That way I can learn it and after that solve it on my own, not just copy the results. Where can I find the program ?

Algebrator is a very remarkable software and is surely worth a try. You will find lot of exciting stuff there. I use it as reference software for my math problems and can say that it has made learning math more fun .
