math problems for 9th grade

Hi there I have almost taken the decision to look fora math private teacher, because I've been having a lot of problems with algebra homework this year. each time when I come home from school I spend all my time with my algebra homework, and after all the time spent I still seem to be getting the wrong answers. However I'm also not certain whether a algebra tutor is worth it, since it's not cheap , and who knows, maybe it's not even so good . Does anyone know anything about math problems for 9th grade that can help me? Or maybe some explanations regarding quadratic formula,ratios or gcf? Any ideas will be valued.

What exactly don't you understand about math problems for 9th grade? I recall having problem with the same thing in College Algebra, so I might be able to give you some suggestions on how to handle such problems. However if you want help with math on a long term basis, then you should buy Algebrator, that's what I did in my Algebra 1, and I have to say it's so cool! It's less expensive than a private teacher and you can work with it anytime you want . It's not hard to use it, even if you never ever had a similar program. I would advise you to purchase it as soon as you can and forget about getting a math teacher. You won't regret it!

I didn’t encounter that Algebrator program yet but I heard from my friends that it really does help in solving algebra problems. Since then, I noticed that my classmates don’t really have a hard time answering some of the problems in class. It might really have been efficient in improving their solving abilities in math . I am eager to use it someday because I think it can be very useful and help me have a good grade in algebra.

I remember having difficulties with logarithms, gcf and factoring expressions. Algebrator is a truly great piece of math software. I have used it through several algebra classes - College Algebra, Pre Algebra and Intermediate algebra. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.

The best part that I liked was the pay back guarantee that they are extending there. I went ahead and purchased Algebrator. It is really easy to handle and proves to be a remarkable tool for Basic Math.
