I'm just wondering if anyone can give me a few tips here so that I can understand the concepts behind online square root calc. I find solving problems really difficult. I work in the evening and thus have no time left to take extra tutoring . Can you guys suggest any online tool that can assist me with this subject?

You might want to take a look at Algebrator. I bought it some time back to help me with my Basic Math course and I can say that it was really a wise decision. There are so many demos given which you can browse through. You can also try out the questions related to leading coefficient and subtracting exponents by just typing them in. Algebrator provides detailed description to the problems which helps to make difficult concepts very clear. I would say that this program is absolutely the best that money can buy.

1.Hey mate, you are on the mark about Algebrator! It is absolutely fab! I downloaded it recently from https://softmath.com/about-algebra-help.html after a acquaintance recommended it to me. Now, all I do is type in the problem from my text book and click on Solve. Bingo! I get a step-by-step solution to my algebra homework. It’s almost like a tutor is teaching it to you. I have been using it for four weeks and so far, haven’t come across any problem that Algebrator can’t solve. I have learnt so much from it!

I remember having difficulties with gcf, ratios and point-slope. Algebrator is a really great piece of math software. I have used it through several algebra classes - Algebra 2, Pre Algebra and Basic Math. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
