2 bust start from same point at 8am. Bus A travel with 40 km/hr. And bus B travel at 50 km/hr. Bus B reaches the next stop at 10am. How much later bus A will reach.

v1 = 40 km/hr
v2 = 50 km/hr
t1 = the time of bus A
t2 = 10 - 8 = 2 hr the time of bus B
Since distance = speed*time and both buses travel the same distance we can write:
v1t1 = v2t2
40t1 = 50*2
40t1 = 100 divide both sides by 40
t1 = 100/40
t1 = 2.5 hr
2.5 - 1 = 0.5 hr or 0.5*60 = 30 min
Bus A will reach the next stop 30 minutes later.
