The distance that the diver needs to dive is 480 - 30 = 450 feet.

The rate of the diving v is >= - 6 ft per second.

t = the time of the dive

Since rate = distance/time follows time = distance/rate:

t <= 450/6

t <= 75 s

The driver will need not more than 75 seconds to reach the reef.
