Problema Solution
A sells a play station to b at a profit of 20%.B sells the same play station to C at a profit of 25%. If C pays 1500 rupees for it what did A and B pay for it?
Answer provided by our tutors
C paid 1,500 rupees
B had profit of 25% means he bought the play station for:
1,500 - 0.25*1500 = 0.75*1,500 = 1,125 rupees
A made a profit of 20% selling to B mean A paid:
1,125 - 0.20*1,125 = 0.80*1.125 = 900 rupees
A paid 900 rupees while B paid 1,125 rupees.
