A water bottle is half full. She pours it into another water bottle that is 1/3 full and it fills the bottle. If the second bottle holds 2 quarts how much did the first bottle hold

2/3 of the second bottle is equal to x quarts meaning that (3/2)x is the amount that the second full bottle holds.
