Anita left an hour before Tionna. Anita drove at an average speed of 55 miles per hour, 

and Tionna averaged 65 miles per hour.

After how many hours did Tionna catch up with Anita?

v1 = 55 mph Anita's speed

v2 = 65 mph Tionna's speed

t = Anita's time

t - 1 = Tionna's time (the hours that Tionna needs to catch up with Anita)

Since distance=speed*time and they both traveled the same distance we have:

v1t = v2(t - 1)

55t = 65(t - 1)
