Problema Solution
in a triangle the measure of the 1st angle is twice the measure of the second angle. the measure of the 3rd angle is 20 more than the measure of the second angle. what are the meashurments of each angle
Answer provided by our tutors
Let
x = the measure of the second angle
2x = the measure of the first angle
x + 20 = the measure of the third angle
x + 2x + x + 20 = 180

........
x = 40 degrees
2x = 2*40 = 80 degrees
x + 20 = 40 + 20 = 60 degrees
The measurements of the three angles in the triangle are: 40 degrees, 80 degrees and 60 degrees.
