Isaac and Juanita are collecting apples to make an apple pie. Isaac picks up 3 apples every minute and Juanita picks up 5 apples every two minutes. If they need 40 apples for a pie, about how long will it take both of them to collect enough apples?

Juanita's rate is: v2 = 5/2 apples per min = 2.5 apples per min
Let 't' represent the time they need to collect total of 40 apples.
v1*t + v2*t = 40
3t + 2.5t = 40
