Katie and April are making a string of pi beads for pi day. They use 10 color of beads that represent the digits zero through nine, and the beads are strong in the order of the digits of pi the string already has 70 beats if they have 30 days to string the beads and they want to strain 1000 beads by pi day at least how many beads do they have to string each day?

We divide the number of beads left to string with the number of days:
(1000 - 70)/30 = 31
Katie and April have to string 31 beads per day.
