Laruen was at her friend's house. It was time for dinner so she started to walk home. Her mom called her and told her to stop and pick up some milk, so she made a quick stop at the store on the way to her house. Graph her travel pattern on a Distance-Time Graph.

The problem statement is ambiguous... if Lauren is walking back/forth along a straight line, then it simply is a travel pattern back/forth over the same line. It could also be a trip which takes her off the street and turns onto other streets in order to reach the store. There are an infinite number of possibilities for zigging/zagging to reach and return from the store.
