lyric,Javan, and Gervanaisa work together for a furniture company building chairs. Lyric can build 3 chairs per hour, Javan can build 4 chairs per hour. and Gervaisa can build 5 chairs per hour. Lyric starts work at 9 AM and Javan starts work at 9:45 AM and Gervaisa starts work at 11:00 AM. They all finish working at the same time and together they build 71 chairs. what time did they finish working? How many chairs did Javan Build?

Lyric's rate is: v1 = 3 chairs per hour and t = the time (in hours) that Lyrics worked
Javan's rate is: v2 = 4 chairs per hour and his time is t - 45/60 = t - 3/4 hours
Gervaisa's rate is: v3 = 5 chairs per hour and his time is t - 2 hours
Since the number of chairs produced = rate*time we can write:
v1*t + v2(t - 3/4) + v2*(t - 2) = 71
3t + 4(t - 3/4) + 5(t - 2) = 71
