Problema Solution

Two scientist were trying to create efficient engines for rockets. As part of their experiment for their research they launching rockets and comparing how far the rocket would travel. A problem with working with rockets was trying to find their equipment after they shot the rocket off. So for each experiment the scientist would calculate the formula for the path of the rocket. For rocket number 1, they knew that the rocket was launched from a platform that was three feet in the air and had a velocity of fifty-six feet per second.

The time used is 283 seconds  after rocket number 1 travels three miles

solution:  the velocity is fifty-six feet per second, the distance is 3miles=15840feets

                So the time used is 15840 / 56 = 283 seconds
