Two-thirds of the passengers on the plane are female. Three-fifths of the female passengers are Canadian. One-third of the male passengers are also Canadian. What fraction of the passengers are Canadian?

1) list out the times table from the number just previous to 96 for each of the 3 numbers 6(96, 102,108,114,120)8(96,104,112,120) 15(90,105,120) so 120 is the nearest so you would need to add 24 to 96.

2)Canadian females =2/3*3/5 =6/15 canadian males are 1/3*1/3=1/9

adding these 2 gives 23/45 is the answer I got.

3)x= weight of goose

10.5=3/4x+x

10.5=7/4x

x=10.5/(1.75)

x=6

Goose is 6 kg and duck is 4.5 kg

4) normally you would rearrange one and put it in the other equation but since the only difference is that one has 12 history adn the other only has 6 the difference is $420 for 6 history or $70 per history and $55 per geography.
