a - b = 11
So
a = 11 + b
Let's look at equation 1.
a + b = 87
=> 11 + b + b = 87
=> 2b = 87 - 11
=> b = 76/2
=> b = 38
So a = 11 + 38
=> a = 49
So the lighter box weighs 38 kg.
