A merchant has 5 kilos of peanut worth $100 per kilo and 4 kilos of cashew nuts worth $300 per kilo. How many kilos of pili nuts worth $125 per kilo should be mixed with those to obtain a mixture to sell for $175 per kilo?

5 kilo Penuts @ 100 = 500/-
4 kilo Nuts @ 300 = 1,200/-
x kilo Pili @ 125
If we take 1 kg pili than the whole mixture is 1,825/- of total 10 kg mixture, means 182.5/- per kg.
But actually mixture is selling at 175/- per kg.
The difference between them is 7.5/-
Now minus 7.5 from total suppose mixture as above 10kg.
10-7.5=2.5kg
2.5 x 125 = 312.5
Now total mixture value is 500+1200+312.5=2012.5
and total kg = 5+4+2.5=11.5kg
2012.5 / 11.5 = 175 per kg
