For now, if we choose,
age of paul= 4*a-5
age of kelvin =a-5
then we can easily see that after 5 years later, 4*(age of kelvin)=age of paul
therefore
(4*a-5)+(a-5)=50 =======> 5*a-10=50 ======> a=12
age of paul = 43
age of kelvin = 7
