The slope is -6%. When you go 100m horizontal distance on road you will get down 6m vertically from the initial position.
B)
For 1 mile change in elevation = 1*6/100 = 0.06 miles
For 5 miles change in elevation = 0.06*5 = 0.3 miles
So there will be a 0.3 mile elevation change.
