Problema Solution

Determine it's perimeter and area.

The figure is a rhombus. It's side length is 13. One of the diagonals is 24.

Answer provided by our tutors

perimeter of rhombus = 4*s,  s is the lenght of one side

                                =4*13 = 52

area of rhombus =(x*y)/2 , x,y are the lenghts of diagonal

You know lenght of one diagonal and since diagonals bisect each other at right angles, the lenght of other diagonal is 10

So area = (10*24)/2=120
