Answer provided by our tutors
Define x = Amount (in litres) of 25% juice
Now, leap of understanding here... how much of the 5% juice was used? Answer is (20-x) litres.
So, we have 0.25x + 0.05(20-x) = 0.22*20
--> 0.25x + 1 - 0.05x = 4.4
--> 0.20x = 3.4
--> x = 3.4/0.20
--> x = 17 litres of the 25% juice
So, there are 20-17 --> 3 litres of the 5% juice
