A. Approximate the lateral area of the lampshade shown.
B. Explain why your answer to part (A) is not the exact lateral area.

Base length is 8 inches, therefore perimieter of the square is 4*8 = 32 inches
Lateral area = (32 inches)(14 inches)/2
