The area of a rectangle is 192 cm2. Given that its length is three times its bread. Find it's perimeter. Draw a model.

Given that L x W = 75 yd2 and L = 3W.
Substituting 3W for L, 3W x 1W = 3 W2 = 75 yd2
Dividing each side by 3, W2 = 25 yd2
Taking the square root of each side, W = 5 yd so L = 3 x 5 yd = 15 yd
Perimeter = 2 x (L + W) = 2 x (15 yd + 5 yd) = 2 x 20 yd = 40 yd
