A woman has to complete a journey of 520km in six hours, having travelled for 4 hours, she realises that she will have to increase her speed by 20'm per hour if she wants to complete the journey in time. What was her original speed?

Original speed = x
because distance = speed * time
-> 520 = 4x + 2(x+20)
520 = 4x + 2x + 40
6x = 480
x = 80 kph
