a basket contains some bananas and oranges. The ratio of the number of bananas to the number of oranges in the basket is 5:6. Some bananas were added to the basket and the number of bananas increased by 50%. By what percent must the number of oranges be increased so that there will be an equal number of oranges and bananas?

assume the total amount of bananas and oranges is 1,then first the bananas is 5/11 and orange is 6/11; after the increasment the bananas is 7.5/11; so we have to increase orange by 1.5/7 =3/14 to make it equals to bananas
