cost of adult ticket = $y

5x + 2y = 35.5

2x + 3y = 28.5

eqn 1*2 - eqn2*5

=> -11y= -71.5

=> y = 6.5

=>x = 4.5

cost of 2 adult and 3 kid ticket = 13+ 13.5 = $26.5
