let speed of plane = x km/hr

speed of other plane = (x-32)km/hr

time = 6/5 hr

distance covered = 960km

=> 6/5(x+x-32) = 960

=> 2x - 32 = 800

=> x = 416 km/hr

rate of faster plane = 416 kph
