In a triangle the two smaller angles are equal in measure and are each one third of the measure of the larger angle. Find the measure of each angle.
Let the length of larger angle = x
smaller angle = x/3
since sum of all three sides of triangle = 180
so x + x/3 + x/3 = 180
multiply by 3 we get
3x +x+x = 540
5x = 540 or x = 108sum of larger side = 108 and smaller side = 108/3 = 36
