Kellen's boat goes 12 mph. Find the rate of the current of the river if she can go 6 mi upstream in the same amount of time she can go 10 mi downstream

From the title we know that we can set a equation of T.
T=Distance/Rate,so T=6/(12-X),alse T=10/(12+X).
So,6/(12-X)=10/(12+X).
in the end,we can get the answer X=3 mph。
