A high-speed train traveling at 180 km/h reaches a bridge which is 8 times as long as the train. The train takes 3 minutes to completely pass over the bridge. How long is the train?(Hint: distance = speed × time)

Let the length of train = x km

             length of bridge = 8x km

              (8x + x)/180 = 3/60

              9x = 9

                 x = 1 km
