If this trend continues, how many years will it take until the town has only 10 collisions in one year? Write and solve an equation that represents this situation. collision decreased in x years = 2.5x
collins after x years = 26 - 2.5x
=> 10 = 26-2.5x
=> 2.5x = 16
=> x = 160/25
=> x = 6.4 years
