Problema Solution
A cheetah is chasing a gazelle that has a head start of 36 feet. The cheetah jumps 28 feet every time the gazelle jumps 26.5 feet. In how many jumps will the cheetah catch up with the gazelle?
Answer provided by our tutors
At every jump, the relative distance between the two animals changes by 28-26.5 feet.
Hence They Are closer by 1.5 Feet every jump.
Hence to achieve 36 feet , it requires :
36/1.5 jumps
=24 Jumps :)
