Lisa spends the same amount of time doing homework each day. On Monday, she spent 1/2 of her time studying for a history test. On Tuesday, she spent 3/5 of her time studying for the same test. In the two days, she spent a total of 3 hours and 29 minutes studying for the test. How much time does she spend doing homework each day?

Let x be the no of hours she studies every day than
0.5x+0.6x=209/60 note that 209/60= 3 hours 29 min
1.1x=209/60
therfore x=19/3
which is 6 hours and 20 minutes each day for studing total
