Two factory plants are making tv panels. yesterday plant a produced 8000 fewer panels than plant B did. Three percent from plant A, and 5% of the panels from plant B were defective, how many panels did plant A produce, if the two plants together produced 1600 defective panels

solving for 'x' we have x=15000
15000+8000 = 23000
