Problema Solution

Boyle's Law says that the volume of a gas varies inversely with the pressure. When the volume of a certain gas is 10L, the pressure is 228kPa(kilopascals). What is the volume when the pressure is 190kPa

Answer provided by our tutors

Boyle's Law:  V = k/p where k is some constant.

k = p*V = 10*228 = 2280 kPaL

V = k/p = 2280/190 = 12L
