Answer provided by our tutors

If the total earning is x

the first quarter earning was 25% that is 0.25*x

the second quarter earning was 30% that is 0.30*x

the third quarter earning was 15% that is 0.15*x

lets say the third quarter earning was 'p' dollars

the total annual earning are x = 60,000 that is

0.25*x + 0.30*x + 0.15*x + p = 1*x

0.7*x + p = x that is in the forth quarter the earning were 0.3*x that is 0.3*60000 = $18,000.
