in 1 hour Myra will weed 1/3 of the garden alone
in 1 hour Ana will weed 1/4 of the garden alone
in 1 hour Ana and Myra will weed 1/x of the garden together
thus
1/3 + 1/4 = 1/x
by solving this equations we find
x = 12/7 hours = 1 5/7 hours = 1.7 hours approximately
Myra and Ana need 1.7 hours to weed the garden together.
