Rose has a 50 length of red cord. She makes a regular hexagon with sides of length y cm. Write an expression in terms of y, for the amount of cord that Rose has left over after she makes the hexagon.

since the hexagon has 6 sides of length y cm we need 6y cm to make the hexagon out of cord
if we have total of 50 cm length then we will have 50 - 6y cm left.
