this problem is not a word problem and should be entered directly into Algebrator, doyourmath.com or quickmath.com and solved directly

if 'x' is not a variable but is intended to signify multiplication, then please use the '*' symbol (Shift+8), since 'x' is never used to indicate multiplication in algebra ('*' is the closest symbol to algebra's 'dot')

mixed numbers are entered through a toolbar button for mixed numbers or you can always enter '7 3/4' as '7 + 3/4'
