B = the area of the surface of the pool = the area of the base of the pool
h = 1.4 m the depth of the pool
V = 350 m^3 the volume of the pool
the volume is calculated by the formula
V = B*h where B = a*2 the area of the surface of the pool
350 = B*1.4
by solving we find
B = 250 m^2
