The following graph shows data from a recent train ride from Pittsburgh to Atlanta. A car traveling from Pittsburgh to Atlanta averages twice as long to go the same distance. Answer the following questions. Please show all of your work.

1) the train travels 300 miles in 3 hours, or 100 miles in 1 hour (i.e. 100 mph)

2) the car travels twice as long so that's 300 miles in 6 hours, or 100 miles in 2 hours,

or 50 miles per hour (i.e. 50 mph)

3) if the car can travel 50 miles in 1 hour, then it can travel 150 miles in 3 hours
