Solution:

Chocolate muffins: x

banana muffins: x-24

So the equation is

(1-1/6)x = (1 - 3/8)(x-24) + 35

We solve it

5/6 x = 5/8(x-24) + 35

x = 96

So she baked 96 chocolate muffins at first
