It took Vicki 5 hours to drive to the training seminar. She took the same route on the way back home, but this time the trip took 6 hours. If Vicki drove 10 mph faster on her way to the training seminar, how fast did she drive on the way back home?

t1 = 5 hr the time of the trip to the seminar
v - 10 = the speed on the way back (10 mph slower)
t2 = 6 hr the time of the trip back
since speed = distance/time => distance = time * speed and she drove the distance back and forth we have
v*t1 = (v - 10)*t2
5v = 6(v - 10)
by solving we find
v = 60 mph
